|Agreements with Parish Councils|
On may 20, CEPESIU had signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement with two Parishes Decentralized Autonomous Governments: 1. Colon Eloy del María and 2. Timbire, Eloy Alfaro canton, Esmeraldas province, whose purpose is to strengthen the institutional and human, public and private capacities, that promote local economic development and productive development as motors of the local economy.

CEPESIU had signed, on april 20, an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement with two Parishes Decentralized Autonomous Governments: 1. Chumunde and 2. Rocafuerte, Rioverde canton, Esmeraldas province, in order to to strengthen the capacity of local actors -public and private- for territorial economic development and productive promotion.
Since early 2009, after a selection process, CEPESIU-Ecuador became the first country in Latin America and the Caribbean signing a cooperation agreement with ABC Microfinance in Paris, the first French microcredit website intended for developing countries.

CEPESIU had signed on Monday-january 26, a cooperation agreement, about "Promotion of Local Economic Development and Promotion of Productive Development" with Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Esmeraldas, whose components are: a) Strengthening local stakeholders b) improving access to financial services to small producers c) improving local production base with chain approach.

CEPESIU signed on thursday 17 July, an agreement for the provision of credit with CDAI, farming communities of some provinces as Imbabura, Pichincha, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, an association of 11,000 potato farmers and craftsmen, with whom we started gathering specialized information.

July is a month where CEPESIU has an active schedule of visits and signing interinstitutional cooperation agreements with the autonomous governments of some provinces as Esmeraldas, Manabi, Guayas, Pichincha, Chimborazo, Napo with the purpose of strengthening processes and actions to promote local economic development.

On september 29.2014, CEPESIU has signed a cooperation agreement with GAD Lagarto (rural parisl council) in Rioverde canton, Esmeraldas province which purpose is to promote the empowerment of local institutions and support the GAD leadership in processes of participation and planning of local economic development.

On september 15, CEPESIU had signed a technical cooperation agreement with UVECOOP in order to implement collaborative initiatives that contributes to strengthening the cooperative sector and UVECOOP an active participation in the popular and supportive financial system.
|Agreement with the Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Caluma|
Wednesday 7th February 2012, CEPESIU signed an interagency agreement with the Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Caluma in the Bolivar province. The main objectives of this agreement are the promotion, creation and strengthening of the Popular Investment Societies, SPI, in the area. Our institution will train and identify the organizations and groups in order to implement this strategy. The goal is to offer access to financial services such as investment, credit or saving to the members of these societies and –almost always- also to non-members coming from the same areas and the same communities.
| Extremadura movement for peace (Spain) agreement|
The Extremadura movement for peace (Spain) signed an agreement with CEPESIU, an organization that will offer the Women’s Committee involved in the project called “Improvement of Handicrafts Production and Tourism for the returned population of the Indigenous communities in the Cotacachi Canton” -that gave them the knowledge to give training in manufacturing techniques and especially clothing- training as well as basic notions about the creation and management of businesses, feasibility conditions for these initiatives and basic concepts on market. This will be done in partnership with the Peasant and Indigenous Organizations Union of Cotacachi (UNORCAC).
|16 Popular Investment Societies in Napo|
16 Popular Investment Societies, SPI -promotion strategy for capitalizatio n self-managing systems, local savings and credit- were formed during this year 2012 thanks to the joint work and the agreement between the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Arosemena Tola, Napo province, Rukullakta Kichwa People, Archidona Agricultural Center and CEPESIU. This initiative allowed to the granting of microcredit to finance agricultural projects for cultivation and production of yucca, maize, guayusa and naranjilla.
|Corporation for Training and Integral Development from Esmeralda|
In October 2011 an interagency cooperation agreement was signed between CEPESIU and the Corporation for Training and Integral Development from Esmeralda (CEFODI). The objectives of this agreement were to promote decentralized financial services and improve the productive capacities of rural workers living in the Esmeralda province through the creation, the operation and the consolidation of the Popular Investment Societies (SPI).

October 2011, CEPESIU signed an interagency cooperation agreement with the Corporation for Economic and Territorial Development of Esmeraldas, CORPOESMERALDAS. The goal of this agreement is to implement interagency joint actions in order to promote decentralized financial services and improve the productive capacities of the rural workers in the Esmeraldas province. This can be achieved through the creation, the operation and the consolidation of decentralized financial services such as credit, investment and local capitalization, and more particularly through the Popular Investment Societies model.
|Economic Development Corporation and National Popular Finance|
On June 30, 2010, a cooperation agreement was signed for the supply of financial products, for productive enterprises, between CEPESIU, CONQUITO Economic Development Corporation, together with the National Popular Finance, PNFP. It is expected to facilitate and disseminate the portfolio of products and services, giving priority to entrepreneurs, encouraging CONQUITO services among credit beneficiaries to access the line of economic inclusion PNFPEES.

CEPESIU and the Institute of Regional Development and Local Catholic University of Uruguay signed on February 25, 2010, a framework agreement providing for mutual cooperation in the field of regional and local development, development of training lines, research and technical assistance.

On December 10, 2009, CEPESIU signed with the National Popular Finance, PNFP an agreement to Strengthen Self-administered systems of savings and credits whose objectives are to implement a human resources training, consolidating a range of savings schemes and loans that are in place, implement and consolidate Popular Investment Societies, SPI.
